Studio 220 Architecture & Engineering was born from the collaboration between two brothers. What binds us in family life we have also declined in our work, setting it up as a skillful dialogue between two important activities in the world of construction: Architecture and Engineering.

ROBERTA ORGANO – ARCHITECT

Roberta is the creative soul of the Studio, thanks to her comprehensive design vision she manages to combine the functional and aesthetic spheres by interpreting the Client’s needs and translating them into their concrete realization. Roberta’s dedication to Architecture is also expressed in a broader sense by fulfilling the office of Councilor of the Order of Architects P.P.C. of Verona in the Quadrennium 2021-2025 and assuming the role of Head of the Youth Commission and the University Commission of the same Order.

STEFANO ORGANO – STRUCTURAL CIVIL ENGINEER

Stephen is able to manage complex projects because of his ability to conduct analysis in-depth structural analyses. The ductility of his design approach allows the creation of versatile structures that can be grafted within the architectural environment. His commitment to engineering also translates into his active participation, since 2020, as a member of the Structures Commission of the Verona Order of Engineers.

Residential Scope

Architecture and Engineering are essentially linked to the concept of Living, of Home, of Family; we know how to approach design with the ambition to obtain the optimal result and we manage to do so by merging the technique and creativity of the Studio with the psychology and needs of the Client with respect to that space, that environment or those places. Designing with detachment or according to a “standard” line is not part of our philosophy; we listen to the Client’s ideas, we direct him, advise him and where required we accompany him in even the most minute choices (from furniture to coverings) making use of collaborations with artisans and specialists in the field. We are linked to the places where we grew up, which is why our passion for Rural Architecture accompanies us in the rediscovery of our Territory by promoting a type of design attentive to the functional, aesthetic and structural recovery and redevelopment of the built environment. In the construction of new buildings we pay close attention to their harmonious insertion into the urban, architectural and environmental contexts while also using innovative solutions that respect the principle of coexistence between “tradition and innovation.”

Executive and Commercial Scope

Even in the Executive and Commercial sector, the combination of Architecture and Engineering must be perfect to ensure a result that meets the client’s requirements. Once again, “standardization” is not part of our approach: in fact, only a side-by-side path with the Client makes it possible to analyze his needs, translate them into design ideas for an informed choice to finally arrive at the realization in line with the initial technical-economic feasibility.

Infrastructual Scope

In the area of infrastructure we also operate with external consulting assignments. Our design in the various phases (preliminary, final and executive) is carried out with extreme meticulousness in order to achieve a high level of quality with constant attention to timing. Structural, architectural and plant interactions are managed: integrated design allows us to analyze and solve any problems already at the design stage, which do not then arise in the actual implementation of the works.

Synergistic Collaboration

We deal with the construction sector, tackling it with care in all its facets; aware of the high degree of specialization required, in order to deal with some specific aspects of design, we also make use of external consultants. The Firm primarily develops the architectural and structural field but – thanks to the collaboration with Firms that deal with Thermotechnics, Electrotechnics-Illumination, Acoustics, Geotechnics, Safety Coordination, Topography, Interior Design – we are able to embrace the Design and Construction Management field in toto in order to return to the Client the complete and coherent product in every aspect.
